Applications for Speaking Opportunities are Open
INDIANAPOLIS — (May 3, 2018) — Early registration is now available for RAISE 2018, a national fundraising conference for nonprofit professionals, planned for September 24-25 at the Hotel Palomar in downtown Chicago.
RAISE 2018, presented by OneCause, combines interactive learning and hands-on application to create a unique conference experience. For two days, nonprofit fundraisers learn industry trends, exchange best practices and engage with peer professionals to maximize fundraising performance. “There is a need in the fast-paced fundraising world to gather as a community and share success strategies. With Raise, we want to give nonprofits a platform to gather, interact, engage and exchange with one another,” said Steve Johns, CEO.
Discounted $299 early registration is available through June 30, 2018 for the first 100 tickets sold. The registration fee includes admission to the two-day conference, access to interactive learning sessions, keynote address, meals and a variety of planned social activities.
RAISE 2018 is accepting speaker proposals through June 1. Event organizers are interested in presentations focused on innovative fundraising, including best practices for event management, donor engagement, nonprofit event marketing, donation appeals, social media, sponsorship strategies, and peer-to-peer social fundraising. To learn more about speaker guidelines, the speaker submission process or to suggest a speaker, go to https://raise.onecause.com/session-submissions/.
“We wanted a dynamic conference experience. One where sharing best practices facilitates conversation and challenges us to think differently about fundraising. Unique to Raise is its interactive format, which gives fundraisers the opportunity to learn directly from other successful nonprofits,” said Karrie Wozniak, VP of Marketing. “Attendees leave the event with actionable insights they can use to immediately benefit their causes.”
New for 2018, RAISE will feature a technology expo area and includes a number of sponsorship opportunities available including visionary sponsor, iATS payments.
