Dedicated to providing safe, stable, and loving homes for infants, toddlers, children, and teens, Angels passionately and collaboratively care for foster children. Through deep community involvement and volunteerism, they work with diverse and exceptional families who dedicate themselves to each child’s well-being.
In this episode of Raise Nation Radio, we welcome Carla Dobbs and Danielle Tolbert from Angels Foster Family Network. They share how the organization ensures that children aged 0 to 18 in foster care find compassionate home placements where they can thrive and grow. Inspired by founder Jennifer Abney, a foster and adoptive parent herself, who brought her passion for fostering to Oklahoma City in 2008 after relocating from San Diego. Jennifer introduced the Angels Foster Family Network model, driving change in how Oklahoma manages foster care and supports its foster families. Angels strive to provide a solution, not just a Band-Aid, to the issues of foster care. The roots of the Angels network run deep, supporting the entire extended family and understanding that the families they serve are their most valuable resource. They are driven by a deep desire to improve the lives of children in foster care and provide hope for a brighter future.
