Great Feats Privacy Policy

1. Our Approach to Privacy: Great Feats is an application that allows you to create, participate in, interact with and donate to campaigns, events, and challenge activities of any kind (“Challenges”) in order to raise awareness and money for causes that you choose. Our application enables individuals, nonprofits and companies to publish and promote their Challenges, and allows others to find, join, donate to, provide encouragement for and promote Challenges. Your use of our service is governed by our general Terms of Use. This privacy policy describes how the information that you may provide in using Great Feats is gathered, how we will use and treat your information, and your ability to control the way in which your information is treated.
2. Information That You May Provide: You may provide information in your use of Great Feats at the following points:
   1. Application Acceptance: We require you to accept the Great Feats application by signing up to create a Great Feats Profile and create and participate in Challenges on Great Feats. We do not require application signup when simply donating to a Challenge. During the application signup and acceptance process, you will be asked to log in using a social network account or an email address. In the case you choose to log in using a social network account, you agree to provide us access to your basic Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Google profile information which may include your name, profile picture, email address, user ID, lists of friends, location, photos and videos.
   2. Donations: When you make a donation on Great Feats, you will be required to provide your credit card number and personal information and email address for verification.
   3. Challenge Acceptance: When you accept a Challenge, you may provide the reason for joining the Challenge.
   4. Challenge Participation: As part of participating in a Challenge, you may choose to share a story, upload a photo, upload a video or make posts on social media.
   5. Comments: Challenges on Great Feats may include comment threads. You may choose to place messages on any Challenge comment threads.
   6. Cookies: We use cookies in order to provide personalized information to you and to enhance your experience on Great Feats. Cookies are bits of information that are stored on your computer by your web browser. Cookies can typically be disabled or limited by adjusting the settings on your web browser. If you choose to disable or limit cookies, this may affect application functionality.
3. How We Use Your Information:
   1. Your Great Feats Profile: Our goal is to help you maximize the reach and the dollars raised by your Challenges. One place we attempt to do this is through your Profile that includes all of your active and past Challenges and your donation history as well as personal information you choose to share.
   2. Your Great Feats Experience: We seek to provide you with the most relevant and interesting information while on Great Feats. To that end, we use your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google + profile and information gathered from your activity in the Great Feats application, including cookies, to deliver you content that will be relevant and interesting to you. We may also feature Challenges taking place in relevant areas such as your hometown or those associated to organizations that you have supported in the past.
   3. Promoting Your Challenges and Causes: Information about your Great Feats Challenges will be published on Great Feats and may be highlighted on the Great Feats home page or in other posts and by sending requests for people to join and donate to your Challenges.
   4. Information About Your Donations: The fact that you have made a donation is a powerful tool for promoting a Challenge and its beneficiary. As such, we will publish your donations and amounts as a part of the Challenge page, your Great Feats Profile. At the time you make a donation, you have the opportunity to keep your donor name anonymous.
   5. Information Provided in Participating in Challenges: The stories, comments, photos and videos you provide during your participation in a Challenge will be published on Great Feats. However, only you decide what to share on your social networks. Once you post through your social networks, those posts may be published on Great Feats.
   6. Information Provided in Making Your Donations: Information gathered during the donation transaction will be passed along to the benefiting nonprofit during the donation process. This includes your name, mailing address, email address, donation amount and any other relevant information captured during the donation process. We will not store, use or maintain your credit card information without your permission.
   7. Email Messages: We use your email address to communicate with you regarding your use of the Great Feats application. As a Great Feats user, you are automatically opted in to receive updates from us regarding our application performance, policies and practices. We will also send you messages updating you on the status of Challenges in which you are participating, including donations received, reminders of approaching deadlines, benchmarks met, etc. You may unsubscribe from email messages by clicking the unsubscribe link in emails delivered by Great Feats.
   8. Aggregate Information: Great Feats may choose to use aggregate information in reports, benchmarks and various other publications and/or studies. This information may be published and disseminated to nonprofit organizations and the public at large in an effort to share insights regarding giving tendencies and trends.
   9. Analytics: Great Feats may use information from your participation and involvement in the GreatFeats application to inform studies and research to help improve the experience of Great Feats users and better serve the broader public with useful information about social engagement, awareness building and giving tendencies and trends.
4. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties:
   1. Legal Compliance: We will share your information if required to do so by a valid legal request, including court orders and subpoenas. We may also disclose your information if we feel it is necessary to comply with an applicable law, or to prevent imminent and serious harm, fraud or other criminal activity.
   2. Advertisers or Spammers: We will never knowingly or intentionally sell your information to third-parties for the purpose of providing you with advertising or spam.
   3. Change in Ownership: In the event of the sale or transfer of assets of Great Feats, we may convey your information to our successor entity so that they may continue to allow you to use the Great Feats application. We would use reasonable efforts to assure that your information will continue to be subject to this Privacy Policy. Great Feats cannot guarantee your privacy upon transfer.
   4. Information Shared with Benefiting Nonprofits: Great Feats will share information gathered during a Challenge with the benefiting nonprofit organization(s). This information may include specific information about your participation in the Challenge, contact information and any other relevant information.
   5. Information Shared with Participating Companies: Great Feats will share information gathered during a Challenge with companies that initiate or sponsor Challenges. This information may include specific information about your participation in the Challenge, contact information and any other relevant information.
   6. Payment Processors: All information associated with your use of payment processing will be handled in accordance with the terms of the payment processor. When you donate through Great Feats, you also agree to the terms and conditions of the payment processor. The payment processor may be: Authorize.net, Stripe, FirstGiving or another payment gateway of the Challenge creator’s choosing.
5. Security: We use commercially reasonable methods to maintain the security of the Great Feats application, consistent with industry standards. While maintaining the security of your information is of the utmost importance to us, you should be aware that no security measures are 100% secure. You should take all appropriate precautions with your information. By using Great Feats, you assume the risk that the confidentiality of your information may be breached. In addition, to the extent that you visit websites that are linked to from the Great Feats application, we have no control over those websites and cannot guarantee the security of your information thereon.
6. Protecting Children: Use of the Great Feats application is intended for those 13 years of age or older. We will not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 13, and we will purge the information of anyone that we believe to be under the age of 13 from our database and records. By using the application, you hereby represent that you are at least 13 years old.
7. International Users: Great Feats is a U.S.-based application governed by United States law. If you choose to access Great Feats from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be stored in the United States and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The data protection laws of the United States may differ substantially from those of your home country.
8. Agreement: By using any of the features of or by visiting the Great Feats application, you agree to abide by the terms of this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will prominently display notice of any changes to the policy on the application and provide you with an email notice of any material changes. These changes will become effective when posted. It is possible that changes made to the Privacy Policy may be retroactive and may affect documentation which you have given to us prior to the receipt of notices of change to the Privacy Policy.
