Mission Kids Co-op's News

Thank you for supporting Mission Kids!

Mission Kids Co-op is a very special co-op preschool in San Francisco. The preschool was started by families over five years ago to ensure a nurturing and safe place for children to learn through play, develop independence, and thrive in a community of friends and their families.

Mission Kids is unique because it is run in large part by the students’ families, who work in and out of the classroom to keep the school operating. The families of Mission Kids share the belief that the school is our home away from home. Indeed, for many of us who live in tight San Francisco housing, this is a place for our kids to have enough space to engage in dramatic play, build massive block towers, and keep butterflies and ants!

Mission Kids depends on fundraising efforts to augment its operating budget and provide things like new toys, art supplies and other curriculum-supporting materials. Our school has recently gone through a major renovation, and we are in the process of slowly replacing older toys and supplies with new ones. We need your help!

Thank you!
