Keep Marin Green was registered in summer of 2008 as the first business cooperative in California owned and governed by people with developmental disabilities. It is an outgrowth of Casa Allegra Community Services customized employment development program: Income Opportunities Unlimited. Co-op members pick up recycling including e-waste from Marin County businesses and deliver to or package for mailing to recyclers.
