Wild Bird Rehabilitation Inc's News

They're on their way/
Posted by Birds on Sep 23, 2009
Most of the orphans and injured youngsters are back in the wild. Our Barn Swallows, Kingbird and others are wending their way south. Some of the birds we took care of will be in Central and South America for the winter. We are now treating new migrators such as Chimney Swifts, Magnolia warblers, Ovenbirds, Nighthawks etc. that have been inured while passing through the St. Louis area. Over the winter we will be working with our resident birds such as Cardinals, Mourning Doves, various woodpeckers and many more. We'll also be sprucing and repairing the center as we get ready for next years crop of injured and orphaned small, native birds.
