Lend A Helping Hand, Inc. is currently helping three adults who are facing cancer with their uninsured medical expenses. Mark Roby is receiving chemotherapy that has been improved for over twenty years in Europe, but, has not yet been approved in the U.S. Therefore, his out-of-pocket expenses are costly since the chemotherapy is not covered by insurance. Jean Cavalier is currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. She, too, has medical coverage, but, is still facing many uninsured medical expenses. Audrey Tenaglia, a wife and mother of four, has colon cancer. She is starting an experimental treatment soon that should help her with the pain and give her more time.
