Do you want to become a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) without having to do anything except buy groceries? It's simple, it's easy and all you have to do is your normal grocery shopping. You can buy apples and milk and raise funds to find a cure for diabetes and its complications - the mission of the JDRF. The Inland Empire Chapter of the JDRF has recently partnered with Albertson's in a fund-raising program called "Community Partners." Unlike other fund-raising programs, the Albertson's Community Partners Card helps support us WITHOUT any "out-of-pocket" expenses, simply by purchasing something we all purchase anyway...groceries! By registering your Albertsons preferred savings card with Community Partners, every time you use your preferred savings card at Albertson's or Sav-on Drug the amount of your purchase is automatically recorded and credited to the Inland Empire Chapter of JDRF. At the end of each quarter all transactions made by friends of JDRF are totaled. Albertson's then calculates the percentage of purchases on a sliding scale of 2% to 5% that will be awarded and sends JDRF a check. It's that simple!
