GOAL’S MISSION STATEMENT:To work towards ensuring that the poorest of the poor and most vulnerable in our world and those affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental needs and rights of life, for example, food, water, shelter, medical attention and literacy. GOAL ETHOS:GOAL believes that every human being has the right to the fundamentals of life: food, water, shelter, healthcare and literacy.Throughout the developing world, people are dying for want of these basic rights. GOAL’s mission is to respond quickly and efficiently with emergency supplies and life saving services. We believe that the money we collect must be spent directly on the people who need it most.To do this, we keep our administration costs exceptionally low.We also believe it is essential to train local people and build the capacity of local organizations so that they can continue to provide healthcare and other services long after GOAL has left the country.
