The FHS Marching band 10K March-a-thon is officially over - WOW what a great day! The kids looked and sounded great - people were so happy to come out of their houses to enjoy the mini concerts along the way! I overheard young children commenting on how "cool" it was and asking about the different instruments - made me smile to think that they were this band's future! The kids are great role models and all the parent volunteers for this event are awesome! Let's not forget to report the most exciting part - the kids met their goal of raising more than TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS! So parents - here's your call to action - sign up and remember to shop on one cause - make every purchase count towards the fundraising goal! We've got 36 members to our cause - but - over 200 parents - so PASS IT ON! Our goal is 1000 Members - 40,000 dollars! Go Band!
