This rescue of twelve malnourished, neglected, and abused horses took place on February 2, 2010. The horses lived in 10' x 10' stalls, were never turned out, standing in two feet of mud and manure. Their feet were misshapened, malformed, laminitic, and had no frogs left. We now have the horses at good weights, their feet have been trimmed several times, they are in a large turnout with freedom to run and play. The stallions are castrated, though one, Titan, is still confined due to extreme abscesses and proud flesh growing out of his hoof. His future is uncertain. Please support our cause!!
