Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CCBVI) has been lighting paths to independence since 1949. Our programs enable blind and visually impaired individuals to attain or re-learn skills necessary for living quality, fulfilling lives. Clients are introduced to adaptive techniques and equipment and are given the opportunity to gain confidence and success in a variety of activities and classes. Support groups allow the blind to gain information and esteem from an encouraging network of peers. We are the only organization of our kind between Sacramento and Fresno and serve the population of the greater San Joaquin County area.
