WIN THE CUTEST LITTLE PLAYHOUSE EVER...
CASA of McHenry County BEGINS BUILDING THE
CASA PLAYHOUSE
MCHENRY COUNTY (April 8th, 2009) - On April 11th CASA of McHenry County will begin construction on the CASA Playhouse. The purpose of this Playhouse is to build awareness of the work of CASA of McHenry County and to raise funds necessary to ensure the continuation of their services. Once this 8x8x8 playhouse is built, volunteers will be going ‘on tour’ around the county, showing off the home at various locations with the opportunity for county residents to purchase raffle tickets to win.
"This fundraiser is something everyone can do to help abused and neglected children in McHenry County,” says Amber Frantz, President of CASA of McHenry County. “The purchase of just one ticket can make a difference and will help us serve more children in our community, so they can have a safe and permanent home.”
CASA of McHenry County, a 501(c)3 organization, is a leading social service agency in McHenry County. Each year, CASA helps over 100 children and families overcome overwhelming obstacles in abuse and neglect cases. Since 2005, CASA of McHenry County has been a compassionate advocate for the welfare of children and families. CASA of McHenry County volunteers are appointed by a judge to advocate, facilitate, monitor and collaborate with the court and other agencies to provide for the best interests of each child.
Additional information about the CASA Playhouse and how to purchase raffle tickets will be available on the CASA website www.casamchenrycounty.org.
