In the summer of 2010, BSEP helped 74 Mongolian children whose families would have been unable to afford the required books and school supplies. Additionally, we sent two ambitious countryside girls to teacher college and hired a nomadic teacher to reach students who have not been attending school because of distance. Our goal is to hire more of these distance educators and to expand our work to more remote communities whose children lack access to quality education.
