Sacramento, CA, April 24, 2010– Take over downtown Sacramento and join ACTIVE 20-30 SACRAMENTO NO. 1 for SPRING BLOCK PARTY 2010!! Active 20-30 Sacramento No. 1 is pleased to host its annual Spring Block Party, April 24, 2010 on Capitol Mall between 5th & 6th Street in downtown Sacramento. The Spring Block Party is a "2 for 1 event". The event will consist of two events showcasing the benevolent & fundraising sides of Active 20-30 Sacramento No. 1. The benevolent event is a children’s fair focusing on health and wellness; this event is FREE from 2-5 PM. Carnival rides, a skate park, food and beverages will be available. Vendors and charitable organizations will be holding showcases as well as providing health and wellness tips while having fun & more for families. A beer garden and wine tasting is available for adults. The fundraising event is a block party from 6-11 PM. The block party will be located in the same area as the children's health and wellness fair. A tax-deductible entrance contribution of $20 PRE-SALE or $25 at the door is required .PRE-SALE tickets can be purchased online at SACSPRINGPARTY.COM, or get in touch with a local club member. Tickets are also available at all local Beach Hut Deli locations (beachhutdeli.com/locations.php) and at House Restaurant & Bar located on Capitol Mall between 5th & 6th Street (555 Capitol Mall). Food and beverages will be on sale at the event. Beverages include beer, wine, and mixed drinks with entertainment provided by The Spazmatics (thespazmatics.net). A silent auction will occur, and carnival rides will also be at the event.
